Diane Lydiksen
Diane is the proud Owner of Studio 34! Having been a member of the Lorraine Judd Dance Center for over 25yrs., she began as a student and later continued her dance education in New York and Boston. Diane performed with the Boston Ballet Company and New York City Ballet. As a teacher, and choreographer, Diane actively continues her dance education by attending master classes and annual dance teacher conventions She is certified by the Dance Teacher Club of Boston and currently holds memberships for national dance organizations. Diane has choreographed and taught for many dance companies, and theater groups throughout CT.
Diane is extremely proud to announce she is an adaptive certified instructor! She is excited to have classes for children and adults with special needs. Diane has created Dancing with Wheelz, and strongly believes EVERYONE should experience the world of dance! When not at the dance studio, you can find Diane working at Seymour High School in their job transition program. Diane helps students to learn daily needs and job training prior to graduation. Diane holds a BS in Biology from UConn and is continuing her studies in Psychology and Child Behavior.
Diane has created a safe and friendly atmosphere for children and adults. At Studio 34 our students feel a sense of family, and fun, while learning and studying the techniques of dance.
Suzanne Winoski
Suzanne holds a B.A. in Dance from DeSales University and is excited to be apart of such a wonderful faculty at Studio 34. She is certified by the Dance Teachers Club of Boston and has been a member of national dance organizations (NDA, NDEO).
Suzanne is a proud advocate for dance education and currently serves as the the associate director for the CT High School Dance Festival held annually at Central CT State University. She has experience teaching dance in the area for many years, and has served on the dance faculty for Brass City Ballet and Westover School.
In addition to her dance credentials, Suzanne recently completed the Post Baccalaureate Teacher Certification Program at Central Connecticut State University where she received CT state certification in Physical Education with cross endorsements in Dance and Health. She presently enjoys her position as a physical education teacher for New Haven Public Schools. She is a certified Physical Best health-fitness specialist and a member of the Connecticut Association for Health, Physical Education, Recreation & Dance (CTAHPERD) where she recently served as Vice President Elect for Dance.
Suzanne actively continues her dance education by attending a variety of master dance classes and annual dance teacher conventions. In addition to her dance credentials, she has had many years of group fitness experience and is a licensed Zumba®, Zumba Gold®, and ZumbaKids® instructor.
Kristen LaRovera
Kristen has been a member of the Lorraine Judd Dance Center for 23 years. Having a love for dance, Kristen fully enjoys watching her students grow in the dance community. Kristen continues to expand on her dance education, taking teacher training courses as well as dance seminars in Boston and New York. Kristen holds a B.S. in Accounting and Management from Fairfield University and an M.S. in Accounting from Southern New Hampshire University. While not teaching dance, Kristen works for a small accounting firm in Fairfield, CT. She also runs her small business, Designs4Everything. Studio 34 is proud to have Kristen as a member of our facility.
Marah Franco
Mariah has been a member of the Loraine Judd Dance Center since the bright age of 2! Mariah holds a B.S. in Accounting from Central Connecticut State University.
During Mariah’s time at Central Connecticut, she studied a variety of dance classes, attended master classes. Mariah also performed with the New Britain Symphony Orchestra.
Mariah continues her dance education, in Boston and New York. Expanding her love for dance, Mariah became a licensed Zumba instructor in July of 2017. Mariah is excited to share her love for dance with her students and continue to grow along side of them!
Studio 34 is excited to have Mariah as a member of our facility.
Kristen DeLorenzo
Kristen has been a member of the Lorraine Judd Dance Center for over 25 years. Kristen went form student, to class assistant, then minoring in dance at Hofstra University, and joining our staff as an associate teacher and associate artistic director.
Kristen holds a BA in English from Hofstra University, an MS in Elementary Education from SCSU, and while she is not dancing, she continues her studies, and is currently working towards her MS, in Applied Behavior Analysis from WCSU. She is a Special Education teacher within the Seymour School System.
Kristen has also continued her dance education, taking master classes and attending annual dance teacher conventions. She holds a certification through the Dance Teachers Club of Boston. We are excited to have Kristen as a faculty member of Studio 34.
Nicole Ferencz
Nicole has been a member of the Lorraine Judd Dance center for 20 years, as a student, class assistant, and substitute dance teacher. Nicole holds a B.S. in Business Administration in Marketing and Management form Hofstra University, Frank G Zarb School of Business. Nicole has been employed with Victoria’s Secret since 2015.
While at Hofstra Nicole, became the campus PINK representative. Responsible for the promotion of PINK brand through an active social media presence. Nicole also continued her dance education, studying a variety of dance classes, and attending off campus classes, keeping her love for dance alive. When not on the dance floor, Nicole is the current manager of marketing and social media for Studio 34!
Studio 34 is thrilled to have Nicole as a facility member.
Katelyn Baron
Katelyn has been a member of the Lorraine Judd Dance Studio for over 20 years. Katelyn’s passion is the Art of Dance. Katelyn received her BS in Legal Studies from Kaplan University and is currently employed with the Law office of Teodosio and Stanek, LLC.
Katelyn continued her dance studies and went on to receive her Zumba Basic 1 license, and is thrilled to be teaching Zumba at Studio 34.
